Partnering with Health Info Radio

Podcast Radio has announced it will be relaying parts of the newly created Health Info Radio across London and Surrey during the Coronavirus COVID-19 crisis.

Health Info Radio started broadcasting help and advice on the pandemic on Monday evening across several multiplexes in the UK.

Podcast Radio will link up with Health Info Radio for four hours each day initially at 10am, 1pm, 5pm and 9pm.

Podcast Radio CEO Gerry Edwards says: “We’re really impressed by the inspired team that have created Health Info Radio so quickly, to put over science-based prevention information without speculation, discussion or opinion. As a new station, we have the format flexibility to react quickly and provide a DAB+ platform for the new station throughout the crisis.”

Consultant Paul Chantler, who is also a director of Podcast Radio, says: “We broadcast across much of London and Surrey on DAB+ and we felt it vital that we play our part in helping to relay Health Info Radio to listeners in the capital.

Clear and authoritative information is essential to helping fight the pandemic.”

Podcast Radio is now also broadcasting a short daily podcast created from inside of Spain’s lockdown. The series is called Spanish Practices and is produced and presented by former LBC and BBC producer Steve Campen. Hear an interview with co-creator Chris, as he spoke with Gerry on Podcast Radio.
